Tanzania: The Serengeti – Animals Galore

Serengeti (Endless Land in Swahili) National Park was our favorite safari destination. Mostly because the quantity and variety of animals was really better than the other parks (but the Mara was close). Here we saw big herds of antelope, wildebeest, and even large groups of elephants and lions. It also looked more like National Geographic Africa. The only downside is that it’s a little more crowded and more spread out so game drives take longer. Lots of pictures!!!

Our first afternoon in Serengeti National Park. The animals are the main show but this wasn’t a bad way to start

OMG, what an adventure!! Love love all the pictures. The leopards are amazing. Do you have a 35mm with a zoom lense? How close were you to the animals? ❤️❤️

Hi Nani, Glad your enjoying the pictures. I bought a 35mm with a fairly large zoom jus for the safari. It was a good investment. The leopard was very close, maybe 40 feet and a lot of the animals were right off (or on) the game road. Safari was totally worth it in our opinion. Both the animals and the people were great.
