Surprising Trier Germany

We stopped in Trier for the night since it was on the route and spent the morning exploring. What a great surprise. This former Roman city of Augusta Treverorum is considered Germany’s oldest city. It was a nice size and we had a great little apartment very close to the center which made everything easy. Unexpectedly wonderful!
