Paris Part Deux
We finished our trip where we started in Paris. We again are surprised how much we like Paris even though we are not city folk. This time we stayed outside the main tourist area in the lively Batignolles neighborhood. This felt like real Paris to us, with great cafes and shops, and with English rarely heard. Over the 35 days we’ve spent in France, we still have had nothing but friendliness everywhere we’ve gone. We thought for sure we would hit some anti-American attitude but not so far. We liked all of Europe but really grew to love France even more than we did our first visit. Weird and Unexpected.
