Leaving Singapore and Asia: Final Thoughts

We finished our time in Singapore where even the airport was quite special. This little country packs a lot into a small area.

We really liked our swing through Asia. It is definitely a very different part of the world with lots of beautiful things to see and cool things to learn about. The people were fantastic even though our cultures can be so different. Our two favorite countries were definitely Thailand and Japan. Karen likes Japan slightly better and I like Thailand slightly better but they are our top two. Unfortunately, we also found the only place that I have no interest in returning to, India. Maybe I’ll change my mind, I’m not even sure why I had such a strong negative reaction to it. Mostly though it was totally worth it and I hope we will be back since we couldn’t travel to China due to their COVID lockdowns. I expected this leg our trip with Africa and Asia to be the toughest but it was really pretty easy and we would have no hesitation in returning. I feel grateful to have been able to have this experience. I learned a lot

Our last night in Singapore we visited Gardens by the Bay where they were hosting Avatar; The Experience to promote the upcoming movie. The gardens and the Pandora stuff was a nice mix
