Lakey Thailand: Final stop Khao Sok Natl Park

Our final stop in Thailand was even more remote. Khao Sok National Park surrounds Cheow Lan lake. It was created in the 1980s and is now a lesser tourist spot with beautiful karst cliffs and jungle landscapes. We stayed at Panvaree Resort, one of the floating resorts in the lake to get the full experience. Though pretty rustic, it was really well done and worth a visit. We had a mix of weather which is nice for photos. We are glad to have seen it but probably don’t need to come back.

Panvaree resort. We were in one of the floating bungalows on the left. They did a good job in such a remote setting. Air conditioning and hot water were available after 5 PM
Not much to do but ride around in a boat and look at the pretty rocks and water. In the morning (left) we had some sun but the previous evening it was pretty cloudy
