Iguazu Falls: So Much Water
When you first see the dramatically named Gargante del Diablo (Devil’s Throat) at Iguazu you come up with clever statements like “So Much Water”. Your senses have trouble taking it all in so you say dumb stuff. Cataratas del Iguazu (Argentina)/Cataratas do Iguacu (Brazil) are next level waterfalls as far as number of falls, volume of water, and access. We were able to go under them (very wet boat ride on Argentina side), beside them (walkways both sides), and over them (helicopter ride Brazil side). Any way you look at them, they are awe-inspiring and beautiful.
Argentina Side: Most Impressive
The Argentina side has the concentrated throat area which is the craziest part of the whole thing. It also has the boat ride which pretty much becomes a shower regardless of how much rain gear you wear. So you get the closest contact with the falls in every way from the Argentina side

Why did the Coati cross the railroad tracks? Because it was the guanacos day off. Could not resist. Karen had coffee made from coffee beans that were eaten and pooped by Coati Mundi in Peru. We live in an interesting world.
This is the best video I got of us going under the falls since my phone is only water resistant. There was a lot of moisture.
The Garganta was the coolest part of the Argentina side. Those are birds flying around the falls that you see in the video
Brazil Side: Prettier
The Brazil side had a gentler prettier feel with jungly paths next to river. It had a cool helicopter ride we could not resist and even a cool little aviary accross the street.

The end of the jungle walk was a cool walkway taking you close to the falls which was mobbed with selfie-takers…like us

We (Maria and I since Karen is smarter then us) did the helicopter flight which was short, cool, and unique

My favorite flight video of the throat showing how many waterfalls there actually are
Our final stop in the falls area was a small bird park. It was a nice place to have lunch and kill some time before our flight to Rio
