Champagne and Waffles

From Paris we made a quick stop in Reims in the Champagne Region of France and spent 3 nights in Belgium. We loved our home base of Brugge and liked the college town of Ghent but were not impressed with Brussels at all.

We bought some handmade lace from Sabina, an elderly lace lady in Brugge
Brugge has the longest beer pipeline in the world. Over 3 km to bottling station
I liked my first beer ever! Chery beer
Ghent Belgium lit up at night
Completely underwhelmed by Brussels and Grand Place
Enjoyed the Liege Belgian waffles and the original Frites very much
