Back in England: The Cotswolds

We made our way back to England from Wales, driving through the pretty little villages in the Cotswolds region. This is storybook England with honey colored stone cottages neatly lined up on green lanes. It is very touristy now but really wasn’t too crowded and it was very enjoyable.

Castle Combe where the movie Warhorse was filmed.
Mostly what there is to see is pretty chinches with yew trees guarding them
and very pretty lanes of honey colored cottages
The Model Village on Bourton-on-the-Water was pretty cool.
It is a miniature of the village itself in 1/9th scale
It’s all very idyllic
Even the swans are well behaved
