Austria Part 2 The Sound of Music

We are both fans of the movie but Karen is a much bigger fan. The following is pure tourist kitsch. You’ve been warned. It’s amazing how complicated the filming is. They used one house for the exterior façade and another for the terrace so when Captain Von Trapp is talking to Maria in one scene the actors are really several miles from each other.

We started with one night at Schloss Leopoldskron where all the terrace scenes were filmed
