Our New Favorite Place: Lauterbrunnen

We weren’t loving Switzerland like we thought we would. That all changed this week when we arrived in the village of Wengen above the Lauterbrunnen valley. Tall ice covered mountains, alpine meadows, waterfalls, cute little villages, even the cows are adorable (you’ll see). Cogwheel trains, lifts and gondolas galore. It’s the prettiest place we’ve been.

View from our balcony. It never got old.
Rain or shine it was pretty and peaceful and ever changing.
From top to bottom it’s just a lovely little place.

It was really amazing and a lot to do in a very compact area. I think Karen and I agree it’s our new fave.
