5 Low Key Days in Paris

Karen and I arrived first and spent two nights in the Latin Quarter and then one night near Disneyland Paris. We were then joined by my mom and my aunt; both nearing 80 and both troopers. We did some touristy stuff but will hit the main highlights in June

First stop was the very famous Shakespeare and Company Book Store
Next is the narrowest street in Paris, Rue du Chat-Qui-Peche. Supposedly named after Dom Perlet’s fishing cat from the 1600s
We ate at least one savory crepe (Galette). We continue to love the food in France
We visited the Musee D’Orsay which is housed in a beautiful old train station
At the Orsay we say Whistler’s Mom (his dad was not to be found)
And my favorite, Starry Night over the Rhone (Van Gogh was more sane than when he painted the more famous one)
We took a quick trip to Disneyland Paris where my princess was in her happy place
We finally got to ride Phantom Manor which is quite different from the ones at Magic Kingdom or Disneyland
And of course we visited the Boot Hill cemetery
My mom and my aunt joined us in Paris
Luxembourg Gardens were nearby
Then we saw famous dead people at the Pantheon
